BENTON, AR – Saline County Sheriff Rodney Wright announced Wednesday, June 19th that he has promoted four deputies.    

Corporal Danny Rucker has been promoted to the rank of Sergeant.  Sergeant Rucker has been assigned to the Patrol Division as a shift supervisor.

Corporal Mike Bowden has been promoted to the rank of Sergeant.  Sergeant Bowden has been assigned to the Criminal Investigation Division.

Detective Justin Davison has been promoted to the rank of Corporal.  Corporal Davison has been assigned to the Patrol Division.

Deputy Joseph Edwards has been promoted to the rank of Corporal.  Corporal Edwards has been assigned to the Patrol Division.

Sheriff Wright commended each of the individuals promoted and stated “Having great leadership is critical to any progressive police agency.  These four individuals have shown great teamwork, skill and influence.  I am confident in their ability to carry us forward in pursuit of our goal of excellent service.”
