BENTON, AR – Saline County Sheriff’s Office (SCSO) deputies responded to the Avilla Grocery Store on Congo Ferndale Rd. on Tuesday, March 12th after being notified of a possible shooting incident.

Deputies quickly determined that the victim was not injured and had had his vehicle reportedly shot at by the suspect, Mr. Heath Hinson.  Deputies were not able to locate Mr. Hinson immediately.

The following day, Mr. Hinson was located and arrested without incident.  Mr. Hinson is currently being held in the Saline County Detention Center on charges of Aggravated Assault.
