On June 10, 2014, Saline County Deputies responded to a disturbance at 14213 Krestview, Mabelvale, Saline County, Arkansas.  Upon arrival Deputies made contact with the two victims, BarBar Lawson (mother of suspect) and Brandon Davis (nephew of suspect), but the suspect, Cory Devante, had left the residence.  Davis stated that Devante pointed a pistol at him and threatened him.  As Deputies were talking to the victims, they pointed to a vehicle and stated that was Devante.  The vehicle sped off and the Deputies began trying to stop the vehicle.  Devante fled into Pulaski County and Little Rock before coming back into Saline County where his vehicle became disabled and he was taken into custody without incident.
