East End Elementary School was burglarized on March 13, 2010 by three white males, and again on June 16, 2010 by two white males. During the burglaries items were taken and several items were broken and spray painted. All activity was captured on the school's video surveillance.
While gathering evidence from the second burglary Detective J Hammons drove around the neighborhoods in the area and spotted the suspect vehicle at a residence on West Sawmill. Contact was made with one suspect, Isham, and he was transported to Saline County Sheriff's Office. The identity of the second suspect was obtained, who is a juvenile "A". During the interview with the suspects they admitted to both burglaries of the school. They also gave up the third suspect in the first burglary, who is also a juvenile "B".
Suspects will be charged with the following:
Zachary Isham
- 2 counts of Commercial Burglary Class C felony
Juvenile "A"
- 2 counts of Commercial Burglary Class C felony
Juvenile "B"
- Commercial Burglary Class C felony
- Theft of Property Class A misdemeanor
